we are very pleased to be able to tell you about two long awaited releases from RETRO MODELS. The success of the first TU-104A model has led to the release of two more TU-104A models and both of which have already been made in limited numbers.
The first model to be announced is the duel schemed Alitalia and CSA scheme with half the aircraft being painted in real life for a movie called Solo for Elephant and orchestra which was a bizarre comedy on a low budget. The idea was to use an Alitalia DC-8 however the cost of this was to high therefore they painted half of a retired TU-104A and even applying the DC-8-62 on the side of the fuselage.
